This 55 minute class is all about the process, allowing parent/caregiver and child to interact in the learning experience.  We will introduce a variety of media, for example printing, sculpting,  painting, collage, cutting, gluing, etc.  Little artists get a better understanding of the world, helping them grow and develop.  Creating allows connections in the brain, which help navigate more complex ideas, thoughts and tasks.  Sensory play promotes cognitive growth, language development, and development of both fine and gross motor skills.  As they create, they build observations, abstract ideas and experiment with new materials.  Some projects will involve some guidance, but the process is the main goal.  Mini Artists will explore creativity, problem solving, decision making, social skills and more.
