Beginning Sewing for Adults
Always wanted to learn to sew but didn’t know where to start? This beginner-friendly sewing class is the perfect place to begin. Bring your own sewing machine and get comfortable using it as we cover all the essentials from the ground up.
You’ll learn how to properly thread your machine, wind a bobbin, adjust basic settings, and troubleshoot common beginner issues. We’ll practice key sewing skills like pinning, cutting fabric, sewing straight seams, and creating a clean hem. Along the way, you’ll build confidence and develop a solid foundation you can use for future projects.
No prior sewing experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to learn. This relaxed, supportive class is designed to help you feel comfortable at your machine and excited to keep sewing at home.
Workshop: Learn to Sew Sunday, March 15th 10am-Noon
We are happy to give you credit if you cancel two weeks prior to class. Credit can go toward another art camp or some of our monthly classes. Check availability on our website calendar.
